What we set, why we set it, and how to turn the non-essential ones off.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, and how you can control them. For how we handle personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Notice.
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your device. Cookies let sites remember things — like that you're logged in, or which items are in your basket — and let us understand how the site is being used so we can improve it. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels, fingerprinting) are covered by this policy too.
| Cookie | Purpose | Category | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
stacked_consent | Remembers your cookie choices | Strictly necessary | 12 months |
_ga / _ga_* | Google Analytics — counts visits, measures engagement | Analytics | 14 months |
plausible_ignore | Plausible Analytics opt-out (privacy-friendly) | Analytics | Session |
| Meta Pixel | Measure ad effectiveness; remarketing | Marketing | Up to 13 months |
When you first visit the site, the cookie banner asks for your consent for non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clicking Cookie preferences.
You can also block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Most browsers offer "do not track" and per-site cookie controls under Privacy & Security. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the site (like the consent banner itself).
Some pages link out to third-party services (e.g. our social media). Once you click through, the destination site's cookies and privacy policies apply, not ours.
When we change which cookies we use, we'll update this page and (if the change is significant) re-prompt you via the banner.
